I thought this item would be halfway decent but unfortunately I have to live with it now that it's welded to my trailer frame. After this piece was welded to the frame of my trailer, the spot weld just separated on both sides. I had to tell the welder to try to fix it by adding more welds to the top of the wing and then grinding it to fit, but the results weren't great. There is a wave and a gap. The black paint I applied hides it, but I know it's there and I have to live with it. If you buy this item, please spot weld all areas again to make sure it won't come off. directly during the welding process. The heat generated during the welding process stressed the metal and caused the spot welds to crack. Even if you don't weld it to your frame and just bolt it on, I'd still recommend that you have someone weld some of the seams, just to be on the safe side.
