UNIT AUTOMATICALLY SELECTS BATTERY TYPE (wrong type) AND WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO CHANGE BATTERY TYPE MANUALLY
I inserted a lithium battery and the charger stopped responding to manual driving/switching to correct type . I can insert a NiCad battery and the device recognizes it as a Lithium battery and again does not respond when I try to manually change the type to NiCad. bottom line. WITHOUT CAPABILITY, AUTOMATIC TYPE SELECTION/SENSING MAY BE ERROR >>>
