I spent some time looking for a gel kit to start with and finally settled on this one as it had everything I could possibly need. nicely packaged in the included storage box. The nail grooming tools are a nice addition, although I already have a metal set with glass files which I prefer. The color choices are amazing (I'm particularly pleased with the inclusion of white/black and the choice of matte/gloss top coats). I've seen there been complaints that the colors weren't on the outside of the bottles, but I simply applied a little of each color to the bottom of each bottle and quickly set them in place (this brief cure didn't affect the polish in the opaque bottles). ). ). The polish itself went smoothly, with a little hassle with the glitter guy, and cured under the included UV lamp exactly as expected. Speaking of the lamp, it seems to be working fine. It has cured the polish well and is simple in function and design. Heals varnish. Ideal. The lamp didn't come with a real plug adapter, but I think most people have a place to plug in a USB charger. Addendum: The upper tray seems a bit wobbly, so I have to be careful when inserting it into the storage box. but it is definitely functional. All in all a great set for getting started with gel painting. Update: The polish came off slightly, but I /think/ it was user error on my part.
