The pad seems to have relieved my mare's pain off the saddle.
The first 3 or 4 times I used the cushion it slipped off very easily. π¦. Since I've used the pad more often, it slips a lot less. My mare now fights less when I saddle her. For me, that means less pain from my saddle, which probably doesn't fit her perfectly. I would consider this pillow an improvement over my old standard upholstery. I can't speak for long term results as I've only been using it for a few months.
