Ideal for protecting the seat when you have children or pets. Perfect fit for my 2014 Subaru Outback. I'll admit it's not as attractive as a full seat cover, so it comes down to how much you prioritize looks over functionality and price. Personally, on the few occasions that I have people in my car that I really want to look good for, I just take the cover off and the seats look amazing because they are NOT covered in all my baby snacks and dirt, yay! This cover stays in place even when squirming kids are scrambling across the back seat. It's really waterproof. A few spilled sodas and a few potty accidents prove it! The top is attached to the headrest around the posts. So if you don't have removable headrests for the rear seats, that could pose a problem. It's also held in place by a styrofoam rod that you tuck into the seat between the backrest and the seat, and it stays in place nicely. The front panel hangs down about 4 inches to protect the front of the seat, which is great. This cover is also fully machine washable, washed multiple times, won't shrink, won't crumble at the seams. Very happy with this purchase!
