Review on 🧵 Tailor's Chalk for Professional Sewing - Fabric Marker Chalk for Tailoring: Sewing Tools & Accessories by Barbara Simmons

very good application but is crumbling

Compared to other more expensive colored pencils, these colored pencils apply very well and with very little pressure. You make a very clear line with one pass. One pass is important to my use as I use it on fabrics that I can't pin but will curl up if too much pressure is applied. they wear out quickly. A small downside is that when you first opened the plastic holder, the loop broke because it's so thin and flimsy. What really bothers me is that the top only hangs on one loop. but at least with bracket. The big downside is that they fall into pieces. No matter how lightly or carefully I use them, they break into pieces almost every time. You can still use chunks because they coat so easily, but the crumbling is a little disappointing. So it's a compromise for me: better coverage with less pressure but crumbles compared to thicker, less wear-resistant crayons that require a lot more pressure and cause tissue damage.
