Consult your vet before using this or any other shampoo. After washing with this shampoo, our cat lost consciousness and ended up in a veterinary outpatient clinic on the verge of death. Neither she nor her vet understand how she even survived given how severely her body has shut down. No $10 product is worth your pet's life (let alone nearly $2,000 in vet bills).

If you can keep pets in soapy water for more than 5 minutes to kill fleas, it was worth it. I couldn't keep any of them in the water because cats naturally hate water. The soap is very watery so I used quite a bit to make sure the fleas were dead. Then I combed out a few dead ones, but I didn't kill them all. I was disappointed, you can really stress cats or dogs if you bathe them several times a week. So I don't recommend.

So I used it on my cat today. The instructions don't really go into detail about "dosage" or how much you should apply per height/weight. In fact, there is very little detail in the instructions. I felt like I applied it to my cat quite broadly, but it's really impossible to tell. After her fur was dry (after 3 hours) I combed her and found 4 fleas. I can't tell if I applied too little or too much as there is no indication in the instructions. In general it didn't work.

I usually read reviews from other consumers before I buy. Too bad I didn't do it this time. I bathed my child (cat) 5 days ago and also put organic ear mite drops in her ears. Since then she hasn't been the same. Very lethargic, vomiting, shaking head. I am disabled but I will take her to the vet. If you read the instructions and it says to wear goggles and gloves to protect yourself, how about a little cat. BAD BAD BAD.

I decided to give this product 5 stars even though when washing my cat I can't allow myself to leave it on and do it exactly as in described in the instructions. As my cat just won't tolerate it for long we haven't had full results with this but we are getting good results and benefits. Again, I only get half the results because my cat can't take it, but that's not the product's fault. If used incorrectly, it still works quite well. Highly recommended.

I liked that the smell is not overpowering. I've used it to wash my cat (Rocky) about 3-4 times, I think it's working but not completely. Immediately afterwards it is clean and dry. I would use a flea comb to see if any of them are alive. And yes, I would find at least 5-10 fleas. And also for street cats.
