Review on YITAHOME Gaming Chair Adjustable Retractable by Chris Peck

Three weeks and the chair failed

*edited only to let everyone know I posted the exact same review on YitaHome and they never posted it. They only have positive reviews on their homepage. I think since this is a company from a communist country where human rights are violated, they can do whatever they want. *original post* My weight is 185 lbs. This chair is rated at 380 pounds. I tried to get him into a prone position and the steel collapsed on me. In the first picture you can see where the coil spring slipped past the edge holding the spring load. I've marked it in the 3rd picture if you can't see it well. I was very lucky that the spring didn't take the strain off my hand when I tried to recline the chair. He probably would have broken my arm if it weren't for a couple of fingers as he spun around slipping past the tab holding the quill. In the second photo, I noticed the steel folding on its own. There's no way this can support 380 pounds when my 185 pound body will let it fold like it did. That's what you get when you buy Chinese steel. It's too soft to support what he claims. Don't waste your money on those useless chairs. The specs sound good, but if they don't last 3 weeks, what's the point of buying them? Ask yourself why you should buy a warranty that, when built with quality materials, will last for many years instead of just a few weeks. You can only blame yourself for wasting money like I did if you buy this product after reading this review.
