If you need coffee for 1 discerning coffee lover, this is the perfect solution. Fantastic coffee. Minimal cleaning (your mug and filter basket - no jug). Small size with elegant appearance. The reviewers comparing these K-Cups are right that they are much better, but the only similarity is the simplicity and focus on making 1 (10 oz) cup each. K-Cups are a taste and environmental abomination, while this machine offers automated production that rivals experts. I wish I had jumped on this many years ago. BUT (added after 2 months). The problem mentioned in many reviews - drip hole clogging - will eventually happen to you unless you are extremely consistent and widen the hole before each brew. Washing before use is not enough. I'm still happy and the expansion step adds 10 seconds to the brewing routine.
