I heard the alternator whistle via Bluetooth to the Mercedes-Benz Aux receiver when it was connected to the cigarette lighter. By plugging this built into the cigarette lighter, that disappeared and now anything I plug into the outlet is completely silent. I soldered the wire harness to both ends so you can easily check with and without it.
