Review on 🐦 Nutri-Berries 3 lb by Parrot El Paso by Louis Asok

Socrates, our gray Tinmech parrot, has been fed various Nutri-Berry formulas for several years. Apparently she (it should have been "he" hence the name) was not getting the proper nutrition from our previous feeding regimen. Our vet highly recommended Lafeber Nutri-Berries for both the nutrition and the extra effort it takes to get to the seeds. Twice a day we feed them a different variety to mix them up a bit. We've never tried the El Paso blend so I was surprised when I bought a small bag and accepted when I wanted a good steak. The price for this three pound sack is great but I was disappointed that most of the berries were stuck together in one big mass. I don't know if this is the result of sealing them before they have dried properly or if this is due to improper storage and/or transport. WOULD BE PLEASANT IF LAFEBER SOLVED THIS PROBLEM! However, there is a simple solution. Do not open the packaging at first. Just drop it on a hard countertop or floor, pick it up and throw it back to one side, then pick it up again and throw it the other side. This will separate the Nutri-Berry without damaging anything. I learned this trick when I bought ice packs that must have started to melt and then refreeze. Works for ice cream, works for these Nutri-Berries.
