It's a bit more expensive than using the regular liquid detergents I usually use but they worked really well. not too strong and the clothes were clean when the download was finished. What does a normal daily wash look like? I think no. However, my wife and I travel a lot and this crate packs into a trailer much easier than anything else so it's used for travel. However, I see my grandson using this in his dorm where there are washing machines but rarely anything in vending machines. For these reasons, the price per download is a bit higher, but not excessive, nor, in my opinion, ridiculously high.
