Everything worked fine for 3-4 months. Then all the buttons stopped working. The transponder code still works, so I can still use the key to start the car (and open the door) until the alarm goes off. In order to avoid raising an alarm, we are forced to never use the LOCK button on original Chevy keys that we have. The LOCK button sets the car alarm. When this Keyless2Go key is then used in the ignition, it turns on the alarm. Someone used super glue to weld the battery compartment together for some reason. Salesperson? Locksmith? I'm not sure who did it. Using acetone I was able to dissolve the glue enough to open it. So I know the battery has a strong charge. electronics problem. Disappointing.
