At first I thought I ordered this wire by mistake but the reason was a misleading description from the seller. Both PVC and silicone are mentioned in various places. I searched "Silicon Solid Wire 22awg" and this was the recommended result above. I bought a silicone insulated cable at a good price as it is what I was looking for. When it arrived the next day, the packaging said silicone on one side and PVC on the other. Next to each is a tick, but none are checked. It was confusing but I was still hoping I got a silicon insulated wire. The wire inside looks like PVC and was marked 80 degrees so it was definitely PVC wire. This was frustrating since I don't use PVC wire in breadboards. PVC contains lead as a stabilizer (there is no Prop 65 warning, but there should be). I think the point of a solderless breadboard is not only to make prototyping easier, but also to avoid unnecessary lead exposure.
