I was expecting this item to be quite loose on me being a male but the medium size fits me perfectly. I'm 5ft 2in tall so it's difficult for me to find a style of pajama pants that fits me. The waistband is very elastic and these pants are very comfortable. I have another pair that I bought for my fiance and I'm sure he will be just as thrilled.
