Ok but not fantastic. And NO anti-rebound bars! :(

*Edited to add: I deducted a star for lack of comfort. Without a facelift but with a Britax Seatsaver (so an extra layer) my son was starting to look better than 25 Minutes driving in a 40 minute car complaining that his butt hurt and the seat was too hard.I put my hand on the seat cushion and felt it and just under the seat cushion you could slightly feel a rod or something.Cushion is not Of course it's not comfortable! It's EXTREMELY DELIGHTFUL for such an expensive seat. Also, the storage space for the manual controls is just idiotic. It's right under the seat cushion, behind the child's back, creating an even more uneven surface for the Child to sit on arises. Not to mention it's likely to tear from all the baby's ins and outs and movements. I have it in mei instead Kept in a glove box which I don't like it really should be kept with the seat I'm really not keen on I don't know b but this is the only RF seat big enough for my son who is only 75 years old percentile for magnitude, so it is not very large. I liked the seat belts but now they seem to be set back. I will follow that. Many of these seats need work, especially for the price. *First, I am VERY disappointed that there is no anti-rebound bar for this seat. Every preview of the seat I saw showed it with a kickback bar that was supposed to turn into a footrest when sitting forward. But when the seat was finally released, there was no more talk of the rebound bar. Now the company is just saying that ARB could be available at some point. Not good enough! Britax promotes the importance of ARB, then releases a spot that has none! Another issue with the seat is that the headrest cover doesn't actually fit the headrest. I spoke to someone else who has this place and they have the same thing. There's a lot of bare foam visible around the top of the headrest - a few inches from it. I do not like it at all. It seems that the foam rubber is too easy to damage. In addition, the headrest wobbles a lot. It seems strange to me. It just doesn't fit properly in the seat shell. Every time my son moves his head I hear it clatter, which is a little disconcerting. It just feels like it should be more solid, especially for the price. This is quite a wide seat. I measured 20.5 inches for the cup holders. But it fits perfectly in my small car as we don't usually have other passengers in the back seat. Also, the cup holders are too easy to remove. I see them being pulled out. and thrown by a 2-3 year old child which would be dangerous for the driver with cup holders thrown all over the car. This seat requires the child's head to be 1 inch below the top of the body and that is confusing. I really hate these sorts of ambiguous car seat rules, although I know a lot of them do (although our old Nextfit didn't have it). I'll speak to a tech about how to measure that. My 4 year old 3 month old son, 38.5 pounds, 42 inches seems to fit him well and has room to grow. There are still four height settings for him, so it looks like we *finally* found a seat that can accommodate him as far back as possible in his height or weight, rather than rotating forward early because he has such a long torso. I hope the 1 inch rule wins. Don't interfere or the seat will be a waste of money as we already had a seat for him to sit face forward on. My son says the seat is comfortable even though I only let him sit with one rail. so far and I'm worried the crotch buckle is too short and might crush him in the crotch if he doesn't pull up. Britax said their Britax Seat Saver can be used with this seat so I'll find out soon if it will be comfortable without the pull up. The seat was SUPER easy to assemble. It's actually the only seat I've tried (and I've tried several) and I'd say it's really easy to install. It also installed more evenly than any other I've tried. Haven't tried removing the seat cover for washing yet (we were spoiled by the Nextfit Zip), but I definitely like that it's machine washable. From the looks of it it can also be tumble dried which is great just in case, but I'll probably try not to tumble dry it to prolong its life. This seat is quite high. I have to have it on the penultimate berth, almost at the bottom, to be able to see enough out of my rear window. Overall, case height, ease of installation, and seating comfort are big winners here. I also like the straps and found them to be fairly easy to tighten. Of course, once my son wears it, I leave the straps on and just unbuckle to put it on and take it off so it doesn't feel tight all the time. I would definitely like to see ricochet protection available as originally promised. The ARB seems to be even more important for older children, since more weight means more strength. There are definitely some things that need improvement about this chair, but there are also some great things about this chair. I am not sure if we will keep this place. We could have opted for the Nuna Exec instead, as it comes with an anti-bounce bar and is also very easy to install and very comfortable.
