Probably the best salad bowl, high quality stainless steel bowl. The glass lid is perfect and the parts fit together well. I gave it 4 stars because consumers deserve better at this price point. The salad basket is made of plastic, as is the basket hinge below. These parts should also be of higher quality, like a lightweight aluminum basket with stiffeners. I haven't had a chance to actually use it, but the swivel mechanism is very smooth. The quality of the bowl allows it to be used as a salad bowl for everyday use, which is good functionality. Rösle is a well-known German brand, we were sold a little cheaper to maximize profit. These are dangerous trends for manufacturers, they risk losing loyalty and customers. If it's over $100, I think we're going to make more.
