I bought this to store freshly sliced shallots and others.

I bought this to store freshly chopped shallots and other onions. I used to keep them in a plastic bag in the fridge. While efficient, our fridge still smelled strongly of onions (not the nicest). I found this simple container online and thought "why not?" and bought it. To my surprise, this effectively prevented that strong odor from entering our fridge and kitchen. Can be washed in the dishwasher.
