The first dongle worked fine the first time I used it, but came back a month later and used it and would not connect to Bluetooth on my phone. Tried other phones, no success. I spoke to customer service for weeks thinking they would replace under warranty but they didn't and told me I had to return via Amazon. Luckily Amazon took the item back even though it was expired. Bought this as a spare key and it worked fine until there was no problem with it. My 2017 Golf GTI S for some reason has very limited app support compared to other years of the same model. I spent the extra money on the Pro version with 100 credits but I ended up using maybe 20 of them so it was a waste of money. Not as useful as I was hoping and with all the hype around it, but then again there aren't many other companies that offer a one-click solution to modifying your car's ECU, so kinda stick with it if you don't want to hand code something.
