This was a very easy install. I am using these remote control jacks in a three bulb ceiling light - a newly installed bookshelf is blocking the light switch. I didn't have to program anything and the remote gives me the option to turn on 1, 2 or all 3 bulbs which is pretty cool and more than what I was looking for in this light switch. The only problem I had was that the bulbs were sticking out so much that I couldn't put the glass dome back on the light fixture as is. Luckily I found some lamp parts that would extend the center screw part an inch so I could put the cap back on. The remote control is small, maybe 3 inches long, so I'm a little worried about losing it. I think I'll come up with something to mount it on the wall. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
