This lighted mirror is a true upgrade for my heavy lighted mirror from 2003. Amazing what 20 years in technology can do even for a lighted mirror. This sunset mirror is lighter, sleeker and expandable. I needed a lighted mirror to trim my mustache and to trim my nose hairs. And this mirror does the job well. It has 1x , 2x and 3x magnification. It stands 11 inches high from base to top, 7 inches wide closed and 13 inches wide opened. The sunset light in the back gives extra illumination if you need more light. The mirror controls are on the main center mirror. The power button , illumination, and brightness. It has natural, warm and cold light. Very light and you can place it wherever you need to. This is one of the reasons I ordered this mirror. With my old mirror I needed to plug it in and stay on one sport. With this mirror I can go anywhere and use it. No cords to worry about like my old mirror. It is a usb rechargeable unit. So no batteries needed. I haven't tested how long each charge last. But it has lasted me a week so far with me using it at 20 mins for 3 days without me recharging it. I just wished it was a little taller though. But I am not gonna take a star away for that. This mirror is great just because of its portability and ease of use. Being able to close it and being compact and also the lighting effect is why I gave it 5 stars. It is also all plastic material outside and the craftmanship top notch. Do I recommend this product ? YES YES AND YES.
