I bought this router with a dma2100 media center extender (I posted a review for the DMA2100). I "switched" from the WRT300N to this router because I found it advantageous for gigabit networking and an additional USB port for storage. I never used the storage connection option as I spent most of my time gulping down the router. The main problem I had was DNS resolution. I could see the machines in the DHCP client list, but I couldn't ping by name. As a result, when a drive was mapped on one of the computers on the network, the mapping sometimes failed at system startup. Another problem I ran into was that sometimes there was an IP address conflict on the network. All computers/devices on the network have been configured to use DHCP. The wireless network was configured not to broadcast the SSID, with MAC address filtering enabled, WPA2+AES encryption and a strong key, so I'm a little doubtful that anyone else was using the network, although I have to admit that this is not impossible. And finally, a little note about the pages that appear after changing the router settings. It always seemed like the time it showed it would update after changing the settings was too short. I returned this unit to Revain and "downgraded" it to a WRT300N which works like a champ. I don't get quite the speed on my laptop that I got with the WRT600N, but the reliability is worth it. As a side note, I made sure the latest firmware for both the WRT600N (1.01.36 build 3 at the time) and the DMA2100 (I don't know which version of the extender is loaded with the extension utility) was downloaded and installed before judging on my network so installing the latest firmware does not solve the problem. In my opinion, Linksys seriously needs to release a firmware update for the WRT600N.
