Imagine a tube of peppermint toothpaste. Now imagine removing everything but the fresh mint flavor from that toothpaste. That's exactly how I feel about it. I personally love mint so I love its taste and how it freshens my breath. While I know mint has some healing properties, I still don't have much of it. It seems to penetrate and kill some bacteria, especially the ones that cause bad breath, but so far it hasn't done anything for my gum problems. Or maybe it's just not enough. For me, this is best used in conjunction with your regular toothpaste, either in combination or after. I wouldn't use it in place of some of my other tricks and products I have for various mouth and gum issues, but it's a nice addition to my personal care products.
