Review on 🚽 Thetford 42138 Style 2 Toilet Base Only - Ideal Replacement Part (Cover Not Included) by James Cabot

My toilet on wheels got to the point where it wouldn't stop flowing even after I let go of the pedal. I bought a valve kit locally and installed it and it worked for about 5 days then the toilet started the same so after research I found this base unit. It arrived in 2 days and after replacing it I have no problems now. It's been going for 3 months now with no problems. The rear toilet started the same so I ordered a second one for it and will be replacing it as well. Our camper is 8 years old and we live in it 5 months a year so you can expect these toilets to be a problem after that amount of use. This is a very simple exchange. Simply turn off the water, unscrew the plumbing, loosen the 2 base screws, place on the table to replace the base, reinstall with the new base seal included, done.
