Product functionality is excellent. Use it in combination with Hitlight's high power LED strips to illuminate your under cabinet kitchen. The device is mounted under the cabinet and at maximum power it heats up a little, but not so much, it heats the lower shelf in the cabinet like a lamp with a halogen lamp. There is no hum and the LEDs dim perfectly with the Lutron Maestro CL dimmer - they do not flicker at any setting and can be dimmed to the point where there is almost no light. The only downside is that there are only two mounting notches that don't allow for a very large mounting and the plastic around them isn't very durable. Didn't cause me any problems but made me more cautious when installing for fear of breaking one of the mounting tabs.
