Review on 🔒 Leviton 1221 2L 277 Volt Locking Single Pole Switch by Chef Buntiloy

I think this is a very reliable and durable switch and I disagree with the reviewer who claims it is not 'reliable' and broke during installation. This switch is very easy to install and I can't imagine how it will break during installation. This is not mentioned in the product description but comes with a key. One downside that some might find is that it doesn't come with an installation guide. So, if I dare to offer one piece of advice to those who have little experience installing switches - install them with the green ground screw down. The hot wire or power supply wire (usually black or red) connects to the top terminal and the return wire (white wire) to the bottom. It has push-fit connections, but as easy as they are to use, avoid them - these connections are not as secure as using screw connections. When connecting the lead to the screw, wrap the loop of the lead around the screw so that it curves clockwise, this will ensure a good tight fit when tightening the screw. to disconnect the connector when the screw is tightened.
