Review on Ezzy Auto Key Shell Case Fob - 3+1 Button Flip Key for Honda Accord, CR-V, Pilot, Civic - Keyless Remote Entry by Sean Spence

This is a great product at a great price.

I bought this key for my 2003 Honda Accord. This key is a real gem. I originally purchased a replacement keyless shell for a 2003-2007 Honda Accord and after taking it to my local locksmith I was told that the OEM shell is just as prone to breakage as a genuine Honda key. There's no point spending $10 on a case that will break again in a few months. After doing a little research on YouTube looking for flip keys, I came across this one. I received it the next day, took it to a local locksmith and he cut the blade in about 10 minutes. He even helped me get the transponder out of my old case. Speaking of transponders, for my machine I was able to pop a transponder into the slot for it in this fold down case without any problems getting or operating my machine. Others have reported an issue with transponder placement in the shell, but I didn't notice it. I pop my electronics into this case, put the pieces together and hit the road. Also important for those who forgot to tension the spring when assembling the shell. Be sure to align the slight bend of the spring with the slot on the back of the housing that connects to the knob as you assemble the parts, then turn the housing clockwise one full turn to increase the spring tension. If you don't, your blade won't open. It will still work, but you won't open it. Hope this helps someone. This key was a lifesaver for me. For a total cost of just under $55 I have a brand new key that will most likely never break with regular use. You really can't beat this. And overall it took about 30 minutes to power this key, including a 10 minute drive to the locksmith.
