Second update: who updated twice? Well I just relax with a cup of coffee brewed in this coffee maker which still works great after almost 3 years of daily use. I'm considering ordering another one in case the first one dies but it still works like new. I am very happy with this little machine. So compact and easy to use. Update: I've been using this coffee maker every day for almost a year now. It's compact, so we took it with us on vacation. VERY satisfied so far. Works great, never fails, makes great hot coffee. We use a mix of Peet's Major Dickason weighing about 9 ounces. Water - An Excellent Dark Strong Euro Flavor. I bought this coffee maker so my wife could make a cup of coffee in the afternoon or evening without making a large cup with our regular coffee maker. I wanted something compact to hide in a kitchen cabinet or at least not take up much countertop space. It does a great job and she has dozens of types and flavors to choose from. I think it works with any brand of Kcup (so far she has used 3 different brands). It makes delicious coffee, quite hot, and you can use any size cup or mug. A typical coffee mug holds around 10-12 ounces and is perfect for this machine. You can easily fit a large mug up to about 16 ounces. You simply pour a cup of water into the top of the machine, lower the Kcup, close the lid, place the cup in the machine and press the start button. The water is heated, the machine pumps it through the Kcup into your cup, after which it shuts off completely. The total time is about 3 minutes. So far very satisfied. Hope it works for many years.
