These are ordinary plastic measuring cups. I really can't think of anything that sets them apart from other measuring cups other than the fun packaging they come in. I've attached a picture of 4 cups versus my same size Pyrex measuring cup. The pyrex is short and rounded; Time is long and thin. Maybe one fits better in your kitchen cupboard than the other, but I didn't care. They stack into each other which is nice as I don't particularly like having to give all the bowls/cups their own space. They cannot be used in the microwave, they should not be over 175F, and it is "recommended" to hand wash them. These are all pretty serious pitfalls for me considering how much they're used for cooking and baking in my house. The plastic itself gives under pressure so they're definitely not the strongest things, but I'm also not worried about them accidentally breaking in half during use. Overall a good set, I like them but not my favourite. If a glasseset doesn't fit your budget or doesn't suit your style, I think this would be a great option.
