I love that this pitcher has a half gallon volume and that it has measurements on the side which makes it very easy for me to keep track of my water intake. At first I thought the motivational messages were really stupid, but they actually helped motivate me to drink more. The strap makes it easy to carry such a large container that would otherwise be very cumbersome. The spring-loaded flip-top cap is also very convenient and allows me to open and use the bottle without having to stop to unscrew the cap. The flip top has a locking mechanism that allows the bottle to stay closed even if knocked over, which I found. helps a lot in the car. My only complaint is with the straw. The straw consists of 3 parts; Silicone base, translucent plastic tube and white plastic cone. The straw was taken apart and I couldn't figure out how to use it, but I was able to figure it out in the end. The plastic cone that goes up is very hard and I have a hard time using it as it isn't far enough from the spout to be useful. I think this bottle is best used without a straw.
