**Celeste has been with me for over a month now. I run it a few times every day. A few days ago she had a "day off". After running for a few minutes, it stuttered, stalled for a few seconds, but turned back on. A few more minutes and it would stop completely and flash a red light, indicating that it had little or no charge. It was charged all night and glowed blue the whole time, meaning it's fully charged. I picked it up and "put it back to bed" (put it in my pocket) and didn't turn it back on until the next day. It worked great and has been perfect with every subsequent use. We have surges that dim the lights and then turn them back on. It might not have been fully charged last night, but its light was solid blue, indicating it was ready to go. A blinking blue light means it's charging. Whatever her mistake, she puts on the apron and works hard again. This little girl is a workaholic! It's not as powerful as the more expensive models, but for what I need it's almost perfect. I have hardwood floors throughout, so I can't comment on their ability with rugs or carpeting. On my floors she gets things I can't even see. She is also very thorough. She jumps on all pedestals without missing a single one. I have two cats that live with me and Celeste seems to have a hard time picking up all the little bits of dry cat food off the floor and the little bits of granular cat litter. However, she is a powerhouse with cat hair and other small debris on the floor. I have a heavy duty boot mat out front that she can't clean, but that mat has a fairly deep mesh to hold a fair amount of melted snow and rain dripping off the soles of my boots, so I have to forgive Celeste this inability. Also, there are several underfloor heating grates that won't stop any of that. Sometimes it gets stuck on her finger, but so far she's managed to free herself. However, she keeps getting under my chair; so much so that I had to roll up the rug and drape it over the back of my chair so Celeste wouldn't try to get under it. At the end of my dining room is a fairly large closet that she can't climb under. Also, this closet is set to squat backwards to prevent it from falling forward, so Celeste really isn't to blame here. She dutifully plows open areas and does not let obstacles bother her. I'll clear some obstacles in her way to make her job a little easier. She has quite a large collector's bowl. I run it several times a day because of the cat hair on the floor (I have a cleanliness compulsion) and it's always ready. I leave it plugged into the charger when not in use. It doesn't have a docking area, which is fine in my small house, but it does have a simple power adapter that plugs right into the side. A blinking blue light means it's charging, a red light means it's low or no charge, and a solid blue light means it's ready to use. For an entry-level robot vacuum, this little girl is awesome! Keep her drip tray and filter clean, keep her charged and she's always ready to do your dirty work! She puts everything else on the floor except for some cat food and kitty litter. I ran my hand across the kitchen floor after she finished her pattern a couple of times and found nothing.
