One of the few dimmable LED drivers according to NEC for testing electronic devices. The supplied cable can be unscrewed and the driver sewn with Romex 14-2. The connectors are PCB terminal blocks at each end, so a jeweler's screwdriver was required. Be sure to hold the blocks while tightening the screws to prevent the blocks from loosening from the board. The device performs a smooth start and acceleration in 1 second. Also, there is no 3-second warm-up delay like cheap switching power supplies before instantly turning on at full brightness. It's good. I had no problems with the Z-Wave Smart Dimmer. I used a linear dimmer aka Nortek aka GoControl model WD500Z5 zwave which successfully blew out within 1 day. It gets very hot, even at just 10 watts. Like a hot cup of McDs coffee. Not too hot to set the paper on fire, but too warm to hold comfortably. Plan for this during installation. Also, if you have multiple wires connected for the LEDs instead of daisy chaining, remember to plan for wire nuts or a terminal block for connection to the driver - it only has room for 1 pair of #12 wires. They have no internal space for other connections. I ran 10 watt LED under the case LED strip. The photo shows cable 14-2 Romex and riser 16-2 cl2. There are no problems with these gauges.
