Description of Illuminate your space with Armacost Lighting 860600 Universal Dimmable: A Versatile and Dimmable Lighting Solution

Provides smooth, full range flicker-free dimming for 24-volt LED Lighting such as LED strips, modules, light bars, puck, under cabinet and other LED accent lights. Compatible with BOTH 120 Volt AC dimmers and lighting controls and low-voltage DC dimmers and controls. Works with Armacost low-voltage dimmers and RGB color controllers. Input Voltage: 100-120v AC 50/60Hz, λ=0. 65C, output Voltage: 24V DC constant Voltage, 60 watts, 2a max. For optimal AC dimming performance, use a forward phase CL-style or equivalent dimmer. The use of reverse phase or ELV may degrade dimming performance.

powers! in Electrical

I bought this power supply to run 12ft 60m per meter Armacost LED strips for my new kitchen cabinets. My PSU is powered by a Lutron Caseta Dimmer. I'm amazed at how well lit the countertops are, but this dimmer power supply is an amazing combination. I have six lighting strips from 12" to 31", each consisting of 4 branches coming from the output connector of the power supply. I used 14 gauge in wall speaker wire to keep the voltage drop to a minimum. The power supply is built into one of the…

It really works with a dimmer!

Wow, an LED driver/power supply that actually dims the LEDs! I thought something was wrong with my LEDs or dimmers when I tried two different PLUSPOE dimmers that didn't actually dim anything and also buzzed. This driver actually works and works well. I am using 12v/24w to power 8 12v half moon LED stair lights. I am also using a Leviton 6674 in wall dimmer. This driver has no switching noise, solid construction, smooth dimming without flicker. Totally worth the higher price than non-certified…

Doesn't feel cool. Not free from buzz/buzz

The search continues for a dimmable LED driver that stays cool and quiet! Do you notice a hum/hum? Probably no. I only notice this when I put my ear directly on this thing OR when I turn on the mic preamp with no expander/gate filter while the LEDs are at less than full brightness. In other words, as soon as dimming starts, noise/crosstalk will appear. My mic cable is nowhere near my LED wires for what it's worth (but bringing them close together makes the noise louder). Plus, it definitely…

Doesn't black out pucks very well.

My setup consists of an 820200 dimmable LED driver, three 213413 Puck LED lights, and a Lutron RRD-PRO RadioRA2 dimmer set to direct phase and clipped to 1%-100% . The problem I see is that with a dimmer there is a very small difference in brightness between 100% and 5%. In my estimation, the light level looks from 100% to 85% and then. If I instead leave the Lutron dimmer at 100% and connect the Armacost dimmer 511120 to the DC terminals of the 820200 driver, the dimmer with the knob on the…

Works like a transformer; Will not work with a dimmer

Me Have replaced the halogen bulbs in the kitchen pendant to LED, old magnetic transformers didn't work with new bulbs and a Lutron QS dimmer. So I replaced the old transformers (three of them, each feeding their own 40w bulb) with this new one with 3 bulbs connected in parallel (each rated at 6w). No dimming. The light is either on or off. I've tried different dimmers, different modes (with Lutron Homeworks QS I can switch from LED leading edge control to magnetic low voltage to incandescent -

Electrician approved

One of the few dimmable LED drivers according to NEC for testing electronic devices. The supplied cable can be unscrewed and the driver sewn with Romex 14-2. The connectors are PCB terminal blocks at each end, so a jeweler's screwdriver was required. Be sure to hold the blocks while tightening the screws to prevent the blocks from loosening from the board. The device performs a smooth start and acceleration in 1 second. Also, there is no 3-second warm-up delay like cheap switching power…

Armacost Lighting 840600 is a high quality dimmable power supply for 12V LED lights or systems. COMPATIBILITY: This power supply should be compatible with a wide range of 120V dimmers. The installation instructions state that "Armacost Dimming LED drivers are available with both forward phase (rising edge, triac, incandescent) and reverse phase AC Compatible with dimmers.
