Review on 🎨 Sax Sulphite Drawing Paper, 9 x 12 Inches, Extra-White - Pack of 500 Sheets - Best for Art Projects - 053931 by Doris Tran

TL;DR - Overall I like this paper but when I received it it had a strong odor and was stained. There is better paper at a lower or similar price. I would like to start off by saying that the paper is quite nice overall - I mainly use it for binding and it has a good thickness for drawing and a nice texture. Overall it's quite thin, but for the price I think it's quite good. Some of my problems: The paper had a very strong and unpleasant smell. It's almost like perfume or detergent on steroids. I'm pretty sensitive to things like that, so I can't keep this in front of me for too long without getting a headache. The smell also wipes off some of my other tools and my hands, I'm trying to find ways to get rid of it, some of the methods I've found are effective after a few days, which isn't a big deal to me. Me, but obviously have no idea. - Some sheets of paper had black stains on the edges and the top of the sheet was filled with black dots and what appeared to be oil stains. Most of the pages were fine, but as I bind (and sell) books, even a few pages with such visible stains are really a waste and kind of a waste. I looked at some other reviews and it seems to me that people also have odor issues but nothing about stains. I might buy this paper again in the future if the price falls to see whether this is just an isolated incident or whether this is a recurring problem.
