I bought this for my laundry room which was lit by a single previous owners 40w bulb, not to mention the outlet was hidden behind a duct which blocked so much of the light, that i had I measured before purchasing to make sure this unit would fit and when I screwed it into my current outlet - OH MY GOD! This thing LIGHTED UP THE ENTIRE ROOM! There, in the corner under the stairs, I could peek into the back of my freezer and notice every bit of lint and dog hair left in the washing machine. I can't believe how well this thing works! I highly recommend it if like me you have a dark basement or laundry room because that's all you will ever need!
