The first three worked perfectly for about a month and a half. When I tried to use the fourth bet of the pack it saw the card correctly and then lost it after a few minutes. Tested with different GPU, same problem. Used different GPU, same problem. Tested by replacing with a working PCIe port, same issue. Changed PCI power supply, same problem. I pulled another one out of the box and it works great. No apparent physical issues, this riser stops working after a few minutes. Outside the return window of course, but I didn't think I'd have to pull them all out and test them in the 30 day window. I was wrong. If you buy them, test them all over a period of time to make sure they are all ready to use.
