I like these lights for several reasons. Firstly, lightbulbs that are NOT "smart" require you to adjust the color (amber to white) with the switch on the light itself, and once installed, that's pretty much it as you really don't have to change the color that much anymore can adjust as the switch does not easily accessible. I like these smart lights for several reasons. Basically, you can customize your phone's color and brightness via the free Smart Life app (I believe there's another app). In addition, you can set them to turn on and off by setting a schedule suitable for security. You can also add one or more lights to a custom group that you can create (e.g. office, kitchen, etc.). Creating a group wasn't entirely intuitive. You have to enter one of the lights and click on the icon in the upper right corner to create a group. You can sync the lights in the band to the music, which is a cool feature but I wouldn't use it too often, but it's a nice eye-catching feature. I had to go to YouTube where there are several useful videos on smart life application. Great bulbs for the price as I was replacing some of my old LED bulbs.
