Review on Tiffen 77mm Digital High-Transparency Multi-Coated UV Protector Lens Filter by Vince Preston

I have been using Tiffen UV filters for several years and have had no problems. With my latest lens (67mm filter) I opted for the more expensive multi-coated version and was sent a defective filter twice. The first one arrived and I thought it was dirty so after several attempts to clean it I noticed the stain was actually in the glass (twisted pattern) so I worked with Revain on a replacement. The replacement arrived today and there is a very clean chip on the glass so I will be sending it back as well. Also, my 82mm filter had a chip in the glass. Very disappointed with the quality control on them so I'll look for other options now.
