Absolutely normal. Small flaws.

I like a lot about this stand mixer: The different speed options and variety of blades are great. The bowl is large enough to pass medium-sized pieces of food and narrow enough to prevent food from swaying. It has a very powerful little motor and is not too noisy. The distance between the chopping disc and the lid is minimal, so that no food gets stuck in the lid. The 9 cup capacity is great and the lid and seal work flawlessly. There is a cable holder that really works. A few things that bother me: The blades don't fit the edge of the processor, so it takes longer to "mash" than any other device I've used. The dual blades make it impossible to completely scrape the sides unless you use an extra long utensil without risking cutting your hand. The disassembled block is poorly inserted into itself, which makes storage of this block difficult. I have to store the base and top separately, which takes up valuable kitchen cabinet space. (Unless you can store it fully assembled in a ready-to-use position. But the spacing between the shelves of my closet makes this an impossible option for me.) The suction cups on the bottom are an absolute nightmare. They don't really hold the device the way you want it, but they "suck" just enough to cause irritation when you move the device after it's done AND remove the device from the cabinet. I plan to cut mine. I made the pesto and soup with a metal blade and the pasta dough with a plastic blade. I used this grating disc to grate half a kilo of cheese. Everything worked great, even if it took a little longer than with my old device. The lower spinner is fixed in the basket and cannot be disassembled for cleaning. The double metal blade is scary to clean. You can't get your hands on it that easily for sure. You can see how the puree variant behaves over time with my pesto batch. No engine smell, no engine hum. In general I am satisfied and do not intend to change this in the near future. It looks like a small power station. Things that annoy me aren't a deal breaker, but they annoy me nonetheless.
