Excellent! We wanted European cut shorts instead of baggy pants and couldn't find them anywhere. It's everything I hoped for: perfect fit, quick drying, extremely durable and well made. My 4 year old loves them. Here I am 1.5 years later to buy more - because it has grown! The previous ones are worn but still usable. This is the most durable swimsuit we have ever had - we are very picky about our constantly used swimsuits. Be sure to check their weight and measurements for height, not age. Your advice is spot on and if you take the time to follow it I don't think you will have any sizing issues.
