Conclusion: They seem sketchy at first, but with a little use they become just gorgeous! Note: These are not textile markers. If you're looking for something that's opaque over a pattern or dark material, this isn't it. They are definitely markers rather than paint so I would use them on lighter weight fabrics. First impression: most were dry, most of the markings were different colors on each end and the actual colors don't match the caps. After about 1-2 minutes of using each marker: the colors are well balanced (i.e. they appeared to be different colors at each end but got much better at color matching with use), and the markers that initially seemed very dry, Significantly improved color rendering / color flow. In my only photo, you can see how the very dry dark green highlighter has become much more pigmented and vibrant. In another photo of mine, you can see how the thin green lines I first drew with the marker ended up being much lighter than the green, which better matches the color at the other end. Some use color streams much better and color variation improves. I haven't had any color bleeding issues either; I used these markers on a white 100% cotton fabric that I previously washed. Excellent value for money and quality! Update: I had 4 markers in total, each with a side that after some work with them was too dry to use. I heat it up with an iron and it seems to have worked so far. I would agree that there could have been more vibrant purples and light blues, but otherwise the colors seem (after some work) to be fairly clear and blendable.
