They look great on the porch and provide plenty of light for our herd of inflatable animals. Hanging on the main line can be a real pain to get rid of. However, once you have them, they are great! The fuse is protected by both a slide lock and a rubber cap, and the extension at the end has a similar rubber cap. They feel they will last quite a while and should weather the weather. The bottles are plastic and lightweight but much more durable than traditional glass bottles, and they also come with a few spares. However, my first set arrived damaged. The fuse blew immediately even after all the bulbs were removed but the seller made sure we got replacements quickly and let us keep the broken set - so 32 free replacement bulbs I guess.
