Review on 🔒 4 Pack of Master Lock 140Q Solid Brass Padlocks with Keyed Alike Feature, in Brass Finish by Michael Moulton

I bought four packs of these locks about two years ago. I chose the brass lock specifically for its long-term corrosion resistance, and also because the product description says 'for indoor/outdoor use'. It turned out that it was not suitable for outdoor use in these rather warm conditions. All 3 padlocks I have used outdoors have rusted on the shackle inside and outside the lock body. In one case I couldn't lock the lock after opening it, in another I was able to lock and unlock it again but it wouldn't open when unlocked. At least I could open them. One lock I used indoors stayed functional and didn't rust.
