I have been using OMRON microswitches repairing copiers since the 1980's. Then they were made in Japan or Korea. When my microwave shut off due to faulty door switches, I was pleased to discover that they were available with a higher wattage (mAh, voltage) rating. These are switches with two switches. (3 connections). NOT "normally open" which is required for my and your microwave. So I carefully wrapped tape around the "normally open" contact. Proper safety would be to trim off the excess connector and epoxy and/or tape over exposed metal. 3 switches (upper and lower 3 double-acting connectors), the other shows an old broken switch: the red spring-loaded trigger will not pop out unless shaken, interrupting the cooking.
