Excellent rod. Very important!
I bought two of these for my solarium windows. Since the window wall was 250 inches +/- I figured I would have to treat them as two separate bars. Instead, I found that I could remove the ferrule from the end of each rod and connect it to the last screw. I added additional supports along the length of the very long pole so the brackets were about 4 feet apart and the curtains were made of sheer linen panels on rings. The finish (brushed nickel) was the same and a beautiful colour. Overall, I was fortunate enough to purchase another pole (with different tips) for my 147" living room window.
