This is a good case for the price and I have no problem with it in that regard - it smells slightly but you have to get pretty close to smell it, so it's not a big problem. The main problem I have is that I put my joycons in a holder (that's the main reason I bought a case, I wanted to transport my joycons more easily) and also put some cartridges in it. Well I decided to play a game or two and when I opened it I noticed that due to the way the case was placed and where the games were inside, the rubber on one of my left joysticks was dented . The reason for this is that I suspect the padding under the console itself is cramping the case than it should be - if it were lower it would probably solve this problem nicely. (Edit: Even with no games in these slots, the rubber is dented along with the net holding them - definitely a clearance issue). If you need a case to carry your console and joycons, this is a decent option if you're careful with it.
