Ideal for OCR for text-to-speech

I will cover all the details I want to find in other reviews. Don't have a CD player? Use the QR code on your device to: 1.) Register your product. 2.) Get the software. 3.) Watch the how-to video documentation. Don't bother to download the iOS app from the App Store (this is just a table lamp control. You can't use your phone to control the scanner). I am dyslexic. Bought this scanner to make books available for text to speech (Siri). And it speeds up scanning. OCR is better than 99% accuracy, IMO. Saving to Docx is a way to read (Siri) smoothly. Searchable PDF splits words in half at the end of sentences - annoying for text-to-speech. I send Docx to Kindle unconverted and use Siri to read smoothly from there. Converting to Kindle breaks the format - spaces between words are removed for some reason. So don't send Docx to Kindle with the convert command. Alexa can't read DocX or PDF aloud, which I'm very disappointed about. But Siri with a high-quality voice does almost the same thing. I hesitated to buy this scanner because of the bad reviews. Brokering the deal gave me the courage to buy. Now I'm completely thrilled. The key to success lies in utilizing the resources provided on the Czur website. Enjoy!
