Review on 💡 T-Spec V8-3DDC 3.0 Farad Digital Capacitor with Top Distribution by Melvin Balamani

Installed in my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. It has a factory 160 amp alternator and a newer Bosch 850 CCA battery. My JBL GTO-751EZ had very poor headlight dimming at medium to high volume. The amp is rated at 750W RMS @ ohms, but is putting out significantly more power (1000W+) than before it was limited. He pushed two Kicker CompVT 07CVT104 (10″) in an MTX Thunderform box under my back seat. I also have an NVX Jad800.4 that drives all my door speakers at 125W RMS at 4 ohms x4. The standard recommended baseline is 1 to 1.5 farads, but after reading up on capacitances a little more, many amp manufacturers have recommended 2-3 times that capacitance. That's why I chose this cap. The bass hits hard, but I still notice the headlight dimming a bit at high volumes. Not nearly as bad as it used to be, but it's still there. In general I am satisfied with the results.
