Great product, my boxer puppy learned to use it in about 4 days. After finding out about it she tried to abuse it and hit him about every 5 minutes but you just have to pressure her and tell her she just got out and don't let her out again at least for an hour or you will let them out. laugh all day. But what a great product, now my little girl has a way to communicate with me and let me know she needs to go instead of just hitting the floor if I forget to let her out in time. It's been a few months and she's mastered it, she realizes she can't use it too much otherwise I'll just ignore her and if she really needs to go, even if it wasn't that long ago, she'll do it . one, then another, then another very loud so you know it's almost funny to watch her. I didn't think she was such a smart dog until I got this doggy doorbell, now I know she is very smart.
