I have decided to make something like a grandparent advent calendar for my 6 year old grandson. No candy, only gifts for 25 days. I boxed and dated each one, put them in a box to keep at home, and opened one each day. I bought a Santa, Moose, Rabbit globe. I am amazed at how beautiful this snow globe is! You can turn on the switch on the bottom back (requires 3 AA batteries, but also includes a USB cable). Turn it on, light up, sparkling snow and water swirl, or turn on the music, glitter snow and water swirl, Christmas music plays! It's just beautiful! It plays a continuous cycle of 8 hymns. They're supposed to turn off automatically after 6 hours and turn back on after 18 hours of inactivity (I didn't leave the game to see this feature). There's also a cute little Christmas card that opens up for a message from you. On the back are the directions for the snow globe. If you want to add a beautiful snow globe to someone's collection or create a collection for them, I recommend one of these. They look really elegant, they're big and they sound great!
